DIGITAL MENU OPTION

Whenever you're dining in at Kau, you can just go to KauGreensboro.com from your phone for the digital menu option!

We are also now providing disposable menus around the restaurant as well.

SPACE

We are grateful that our large space allows us to welcome you into our dining room, deck bar & patio with ample social distance between guests. We are abiding by the CDC recommendations by lessening our occupancy capacity to 50%, and by arranging for at least a  6-foot separation between parties for indoor and outdoor seating, and at least 6 feet between groups sitting at counters as well. We have created as much as 10 feet between seats wherever possible throughout our well-ventilated dining room, bar area, deck bar, & patio.

RE-TRAINING STAFF

It's a new world in the service industry, and we took the time to retain and refresh our staff, as well as re-set our large space to provide comfort and confidence for our guests, before we reopened this past June 4th, 2020. Our fantastic staff now wears masks and, as always, are following proper hygiene protocols in line with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, following the guidelines here.

DEEP CLEAN

In addition to our daily and ongoing cleaning and disinfection routines, Kau has invested in Enviro-Master Services, an award-winning commercial health and safety company whose disinfection techniques kill SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) and 47 other infectious disease organisms. The space has received regular sanitation, disinfection, deep-cleaning, and hygienic services from Enviro-Master Services in the time of COVID-19. Click below for more information.

SANITATION STATIONS

One new feature of our space are easily accessible Sanitation Stations located at six locations around our space, where staff and guests can use hand sanitizer, access disposable gloves, and where staff can easily utilize cleaning supplies.

ADDITIONAL MEASURES >>

  • New accommodations for guests waiting for a table, which include:

    • an expanded outdoor waiting area

    • a new spacious waiting area indoors

    • a contactless wait system that now works by getting a call to your personal phone (instead of a shared-buzzer system)

  • Social distance floor markings placed around the indoor space

  • Designated Order Stations which prevent crowding of the bar

  • An expanded outdoor seating area at our Deck Bar & Patio, where we have opened up the walls of our deck bar and provided more seating on the deck's left side, in keeping with health recommendations which show that outdoor seating is the safest and best-ventilated option for diners.

  • Discontinued putting condiments or any items on the table between guests

  • Rolled utensils in single-use/disposable linens on tables

  • Ensuring restaurant ventilation systems work properly upon re-opening
