GREENSBORO - Natty Greene's Kitchen and Market restaurant at 2003 Yanceyville St. in Greensboro opens its 5,000-square-foot outdoor deck and bar on Tuesday.
Ten double-sided beer taps stand sentinel over the deck's outdoor bar that is covered and enclosed for year-round use. Sliding windows and doors can be opened during warm weather.
The bar, which also serves wine and cocktails, seats about 33 with standing room for about 20 more.
The deck features a cocktail area and lounge with couches, chairs and cocktail tables.
The deck also offers a full-service outdoor dining area seating about 32.
The deck and bar are perched over a man-made pond filled with rain water from the adjacent Revolution Mill campus.
Natty Greene's Kitchen and Market opened in August and offers burgers, sandwiches and entrees like fried chicken, steaks and daily seafood.
It is a sister eatery to Natty Greene's downtown brewpub.
Access to the restaurant is by way of a pedestrian bridge from a parking lot off Textile Drive.
The restaurant joins other eateries at the renovated Revolution Mill mixed-use campus that include Cugino Forno Pizzeria and Urban Grinders coffee shop.
